Hydrous clay or kaolin is water washed clay are produced by subjecting crude clay to an intensive process of blunging, slurrying, sieving, grinding, centrifuging, chemically and possibly magnetically treating, concentrating, and drying to achieve a desired level of brightness, purity, particle size.
